How do I get the wrinkles out of my bridesmaid dress?

I have a taffeta/polyester bridesmaid dress with several obvious creases in it. Can I remove them by steaming it? I am afraid to iron it.How do I get the wrinkles out of my bridesmaid dress?
Follow the care label. Most garments can be lightly pressed inside out using a press cloth and a cool iron. If in doubt your local dry cleaner should offer a pressing/steaming service. Do NOT iron taffeta as it will mark. Never iron a gown on the front side. Do not use direct steam on garments with beadwork or decoration and always test on an inconspicuous area first. How do I get the wrinkles out of my bridesmaid dress?
this is going to sound like an odd answer. but instead of directly steaming it you can hang it in the bathroom while you are taking a shower. the light steam and humitity will loosen the creases so you can just gently flatten them with your hand. this is a safe way to ensure it won't burn.
yes you can hang it up in a bathroom so when you shower the steam will aid to de-crease the dress. you could take it too a specialist wedding dress shop and pay to have it steam cleaned.
yes you can. When you are finished, brush it with calm pastes. If that doesn't work take it to some kind of ';lavanderia';. (I have no clue how you say that in english sorry)
