What is the difference between fine lines and wrinkles?

Can fine lines be considered lines that you can see for example on your forehead without raising your eyebrows or are they considered to be wrinkles? I know that this may seem like a silly question but I am just curious. What is the difference between fine lines and wrinkles?
Lines, wrinkles - it's just a case of degree. When not very pronounced they are usually described as fine lines. When more pronounced they are described as wrinkles. Many on answers, even very young ones, are always proclaiming they have very pronounced or deep wrinkles, creases, etc. But we know, don't we, that it's simply an exaggeration. I've just seen one question posted by a 14 y.o. that she considers she looks like a 40 year old.

  • What is the best eye cream for sensitive eyes, with dark circles and wrinkles?

I've tried heaps of eye creams, and they all sting the area around my eyes. The skin is also flaky after I cleanse my skin, so is there a cream which can also hydrate my eyes heaps? What is the best eye cream for sensitive eyes, with dark circles and wrinkles?
Kiehls Avocado Treatment!! i'm 28 and just heard about this stuff... it got some rave reviews at makeup alley, which is a makeup rating website that i love: http://makeupalley.com/product/showrevie鈥?/a>

i just started using it about 3 weeks ago. i'm such a consumer, and TOUGH critic when it comes to products. i also have extremely sensitive skin: it is super dry/flaky in some areas (such as around the eyes) and oily/acne-prone in others. also, i am prone to eczema on my face.

this cream has done wonders for the skin of my eye area, and i haven't experienced any of the irritation or burning i've felt with pretty much every other eye product. i'm smooth, soft, bright, and glowy. i'm hooked on this stuff. :DWhat is the best eye cream for sensitive eyes, with dark circles and wrinkles?
You're welcome! The only drawback to this cream (just remembered), is that I kind of have to tug at the eye area to get it smoothed on there, and that can't be good! Plan is to go back to the Kiehls store and see if they recommend a better way. Anyway, hope you enjoy this product too! Report Abuse

Arbonne. It works great on sensitive skin. It's not oily or heavy either.I have been using Arbonne eye cream for six months normally I have a problem with eye creams stinging also but, have not had a problem with this one. The hydrating facial wash is great too!
I agree, Arbonne! Im 29, but have three young girls and my eyes DID have some dark circles. I have some great before and afters if you would like. Also, if your skin is flaky, you probably need to get a better lotion / wash, and maybe to use a scrub.

Vitamin E. The Body Shop makes a great vitamin E eye cream. You also sound like you need a better moisturizer if your skin is getting flakey. You could try going to one of those stands in the mall where they sell cosmetics and talk to them about it, try the salespeople at the body shop or call a mary kay consultant - they usually know what they are talking about.

How much can I tan without getting premature wrinkles?

How often can I tan without getting premature wrinkles? Do you have any tips how I can tan faster outside or any other tips you can give me. I hear that tanning can lead to premature wrinkles I don't think I want that... So how can I avoid it?How much can I tan without getting premature wrinkles?
I go to the tanning booth and i cover my face. Try to keep yor face out of the sun as much as possible! spf 35 or higher is what you'd like to get and then after you have applied the suntan lotion rub on a tanning oil. works great! How much can I tan without getting premature wrinkles?
Tanning is bad on your skin no matter what. Also...I would not recommend going to tanning beds...they are worse for your skin than tanning outside in the sun. I would just say that if you put sunscreen with at least spf 15, that could help protect your skin a little bit from the harmful rays from the sun..but really, it is best to use a higher spf when you are going to be in the sun that much. I think that no matter what kind of sunscreen you have on, you can still tan because it doesn't block out all of the suns rays, but you need to realize that the lower the spf, the more damage you are doing to your skin. You also put yourself at a higher risk of getting skin cancer...especially if you get a sunburn...so just make sure you are very careful! As for wrinkles....I think that you would get wrinkles from tanning too much...I mean, I have seen women who are tanorexic and they look awful..lol. I think if you just maybe go swimming or something fun outside, then you would naturally get a nice tan, and you also wouldn't look fake or anything like some women do from the tanning beds.

How can I keep my shirt from getting wrinkles?

There's some kind of fabric softener that is supposed to keep clothes from wrinkling so badly. I use Downy Wrinkle Releaser on my clothes - I think it works pretty well. At what age do humans start to get wrinkles?

I am 20 years old and I've noticed some wrinkles appearing under my eyes?

How do I get rid of it?At what age do humans start to get wrinkles?
Those wrinkles under your eyes are probably just from tiredness. To be honest most people get them at some point, a lot of people have them permenantly too and there's not really much you can do about it if that's the case.

But don't worry it won't be anywhere near as noticeable to others as it is to you.At what age do humans start to get wrinkles?
If you smoke or too much drugs/alcohol this can make you age a lot faster - too much sun or tanning salons will definitely have a huge impact. Keep your face out of the sun %26amp; have a daily routine of cleansing morning %26amp; night and wear a foundation / or moisture with a sunscreen in it during the day. Genetics can also play a part. But don't worry we will still love you even when you are all wrinkly %26amp; old! I am sure I will get there before you!
this is a sign of premature aeging.Be conscious of ur skin but don't get overconscious. As per I opine eye is the most delicate part of our skin so u should consult a dermatologist.AHA can cure this problem.Have lots of green diet and food contain anti oxident
People get wrinkles at all different ages, depending on life style, genetics and diet. Also, for example, fair haired people are more prone to wrinkles than, for example, brown haired people.
They come at any age actually. If you wanna reduce their appearance, go get some good eye cream. Maybe you laugh a lot ,LOL
really??...my mom is 40 nd shez only starting now..anyhow try those creamz....that reduce wrinkles

  • At what age should I start worrying about wrinkles?

I am 22. What should I do to prevent wrinkles? I've started noticing lines in the outside of my eyes and my forhead. I have friends who have tried botox, but I in no way want to resort to botox or plastic surgery. I'm looking for something natural and inexpensive. At what age should I start worrying about wrinkles?
At what age should you start worrying? At birth. The absolute best thing to prevent wrinkles is daily sunscreen, even if you're only going outside for a few minutes. Minimum of 30 SPF. You can get a lot of sun while driving (skin cancer rates are higher on the left side of the body of Americans and on the right side in Britain). A lot is determined by your genes. Drink lots of water, use a good moisturizer. Don't use harsh chemicals (e.g. alcohol) on your skin or scrub it too much. Don't worry about every little change in your face...they give you character. Plus, you'll have them for the rest of your life, so you might as well embrace them.At what age should I start worrying about wrinkles?
Why worry? That will only add more wrinkles!

Girl, you are barely out of your teens. Those little squinty lines around your eyes and smile lines around the corners of your mouth are perfectly natural. They add character and over the years, help to define who you are. But you don't want those frown lines between your eyes, so practice happiness. And sun is terribly damaging, so stay out of it or lather on the sunscreen frequently when you are outside - yes, even in winter.

';Good'; skin is in part genetic, so there is a limit to what you can do to prevent wrinkles. Sadly, we live in a country that worships youth. I'm 65 and proud of my face, because I earned every one of those wise lines!
I would start with a face cream. I personally like clinic.

    Wow!

You shouldn't have to worry about wrinklesn now!

You have years to go... think more like 35 or 40.

If you are worried, try some light creams such as a vitiman A rich product.

There is a great cream at The Body Shop in a little pink tub with a black lid... easy to find and if you ask about it they'll know. It is rich with vitiman A and is my miracle cream. My mother has been using it for years and her lines are amazing...!

    Good luck.
preventative maintenance is the way to go - have a good skin care routine now and you will not have to worry about wrinkles for a good while - make sure you use eye cream everyday and this should help
don't use a bar of soap like Dove. If you get a facial cleanser from a salon or a place like Macys you will age slower. Soap takes the elasticity out of the skin causing it to wrinkle. Dove soap has a PH of aout 9.5 which is very harmful. In a drug store Alpha Keri bar might be ok. Don't use noxima. Just for the record Thick skin takes longer to age than thin skin. Thick skin is usually oily skin. Thin skin is normal to dry skin. It takes longer for thick ski to wrinkle but when it does it wrinkles deeper than thin skin. The best thing to keep your skin from wrinkling is to use good products. If you buy a good shampoo from a salon, you could use that on your face if you don't have anything else.
you're straining your face too much when you fart

they're not 'laugh lines' like everyone wants you to think, but

    FART lines!

you need to keep relaxed when u squeeze one out
    Do you smoke?

    Because that will do it.
don't worry at all and if any one say anything say i letting my skin go natural
12 or 13. Start moisturizing and using face creams.
You shouldn't worry about wrinkles just do something to prevent them. Wrinkles and crows feet are actually caused by sun damaged skin, be sure you always use a moisturizer with a SPF no less than 20. Use it everyday, even on the days that are cloudy or cold, uv rays don't care what it looks like outside they are still doing damage. If you can, get a good eye firming cream and be very gentle when putting it on the lid and below the eye any extra pulling can cause wrinkle problems too. Also to prevent more crows feet be sure you are wearing sunglasses so you won't do extra squinting when you are out and about.
they are not a big worry until you hit 40-50

keep using stuff with vitamin E and AHA (alpha hydroxy)
Wow at 22 you have wrinkles. You may just have dry skin. Try a good moisturizer.

What's the best way to get wrinkles out of a polyester and wool jacket if you don't have a steamer?

I don't want to iron it, and I have been told things like put it in the dryer with a wet towel or let it hang on the shower rod while shower so that steam can smooth it out. I ordered this jacket off line, got it in the mail today, and plan on wearing it tonight. Any suggestions on how to get the wrinkles out in about an hour? What's the best way to get wrinkles out of a polyester and wool jacket if you don't have a steamer?
I always use the Refresh'n Dryer Towel for removing wrinkles quickly in the dryer. It works for dry clean clothes, regular clothes, and coats and jackets. No chemicals, lasts forever and can be recycled. You can check out the website: www.RefreshN.netWhat's the best way to get wrinkles out of a polyester and wool jacket if you don't have a steamer?
The steaming in the hot shower thing works in about 10 minutes, although it makes the garment pretty damp. The tumbling in a dryer with a damp towel, pretty much the same thing. My concern with the dryer is the fact that it's a wool blend, which might shrink up in the tumble dryer.

I would go with the shower thing first, because there's no chance of damaging the fabric (shrinkage). If that doesn't work, do the tumble dryer thing on the lowest heat setting for no more than 10 minutes. And, don't use a towel that's too wet, or you'll never get the jacket dry in time.

Home Remedies for wrinkle on skin

Here are some simple home remedies to deal with wrinkles on skin and prevent the formation of new ones 鈥?br>

Apply egg whites to the skin under your eyes.

Odor-free castor oil can be applied to the skin under the eyes or on that of the throat.

Empty the contents of 3 Vitamin E capsules into a small bowl. Add to this 2 tsps plain yogurt, 1/2 tsp honey and 1/2 tsp lemon juice. Apply this mixture on the face using a cotton ball. Leave it on for 10 minutes and rinse.

A mixture of 1/4 cup comfrey infusion, 1/4 cup witch hazel and 10 drops of patchouli essential oil is effective in treating wrinkles. This can be stored in a clean bottle and applied on affected areas with a cotton ball.

Gently massage coconut oil on portions of skin prone to wrinkles every night a bedtime.

A paste of turmeric made with sugarcane juice is great to get rid of wrinkles and slow skin ageing.

Cut a green Thompson seedless grape in half and gently crush it on your face on the wrinkles. Leave it for 20 minutes and rinse with warm water and let it dry in natural air.

Rub the core of pineapple on the face and leave it for 10-15 minutes before rinsing off. This works well on fine wrinkles.

The role of a balanced diet for a healthy, youthful looking skin cannot be undermined. A diet rich in fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains paves the way for a wrinkle-free skin.

Flax seed oil is an excellent wrinkle cure agent. Take a tablespoon of flax seed oil 4 times a day. This may cause diarrhea, so make sure your body is used to taking flax seed oil.

Consume at least 2-4 liters of water everyday. This is the best way to hydrate and moisturize your skin from within.

Will wrinkles in clothing eventually work themselves out?

How do I get creases and wrinkles out of my suit without ruining it?

I recently got a new suit made up for me that my brother brought back from a trip to Vietnam. He sent it home to me through the mail and it has creases and wrinkles from the packing. How can I get them out without ruining the suit? How do I get creases and wrinkles out of my suit without ruining it?
I would take it to the dry cleaner's and have them steam it. Another alternative, only if you have a lot of good clothing, is to get a ';garment steamer,'; which is one of the best things ever invented. We all know what an iron can do to clothes.

Something else you may be able to do to get some of the wrinkles out is to steam it in the bathroom. Using hot water, turn on the shower and close the door. Hand the suit in the bathroom on a strong hanger. Let the shower run for about 5 minutes, then go back in and turn the shower off and close the door again. ALL of the wrinkles will not come out, but it does a pretty good job.How do I get creases and wrinkles out of my suit without ruining it?
    search yahoo for steam ironing
Take it to the cleaners. They will steam press it.
Buy the small ';Tobi'; steam cleaner for home use, it is excellent. Works fast, no hassle and does remove all the wrinkles.
Hanging it in the bathroom and running the shower with very warm or hot water will often work. You want lots of steam. The wrinkles should just fall out and then let the suit dry (it will be slightly damp from the steam).

Basically, the same idea as thebear, but a little less work.
Either dry clean it or Buy a steamer and steam it yourself at home. A steamer is like the thing they have at the dry cleaner. It has a hose with a brush that lets out steam. Good luck!
Get some sheets of that light, thin paper which clothing is packed in. Set a iron on low, place a sheet of the paper over the area of the suit you wish to iron, then gently iron that area.

You can also lightly dampen a thin towel with hot water, then place this over the area you wish to iron instead of the paper. The water in the towel will steam up so you'll get a steaming effect without having to have the iron at a higher setting.
Take it to the dry cleaners.
What material is it made of?

You could gently cool iron from the inside.
iron it... that usually helps unless ur my lil sister who cant iron any thing for sh*t lol
hand it up, turn your iron on to full steam and go over the suit without touching it, just keep pressing the steam button
Before you iron the suit put a thin towel over it Then steam it with the iron.

Always wear sunscreen, unless you are locked up in a house where teh sun never shines in. ANY sun will cause wrinkles.

Also, never smoke or quit if you do smoke.

Besides genetics (which you obviously cannot control), using sunscreen and never smoking are your two best weapons against premature wrinkling! Also, please don't take offense, but at age 46, you should have some wrinkles as it's simply natural because your body is almost half a century old.

The tag said it was machine washable, and it did get clean, but the wrinkles are not hanging out after several weeks.Any suggestions on how to remove wrinkles from a microsuede comforter?
You could probably steam out the wrinkles. If you don't have a steam machine (they're a pretty cheap investment) you can do this with an iron. Put the iron on the highest steam setting and run it over the comforter without touching. You can do this with the comforter on the bed, since you won't be ironing. You will need to pull the comforter nice %26amp; tight and then smooth out the wrinkles with your hand.

This is easier with a steam machine. They're worth the investment since you can use it to get wrinkles out of curtains, bed skirts %26amp; clothes without getting out an iron %26amp; ironing board.

You can also try using Downy Wrinkle Releaser. You will find it in the laundry aisle. Just try it on a small corner first to make sure it doesn't stain. I use this stuff on EVERYTHING -- including comforters, curtains, tablecloths, golf shirts -- anything I don't want to iron or stuff I've ironed %26amp; then put away (like tablecloths.)Any suggestions on how to remove wrinkles from a microsuede comforter?

To eliminate a fresh grease spot on a suede jacket or skirt, gently brush it with a soft toothbrush dipped in white vinegar. Let the spot air-dry, then brush with a suede brush. Repeat if necessary. You can also generally tone up suede items by lightly wiping them with a sponge dipped in vinegar.

if u use eye makeup on a daily basis then when u take it off u have to rub it and after a while u will start getting fine lines , but htey probably wont show up til later in life. What types of makeup give you wrinkles at a young age?
If mascara makes your eye lashes fall off, then all of the models, celebrities, and makeup artists would refuse to use it! It doesn't make your eye lashes fall off and the only makeup that will make your skin age quickly is the stuff that you leave on your face overnight, so always wash your face and you'll be okay!
mascara will not make your lashes fall out. I've worn mascara for 18 yrs and my lashes are as thick and long as they've ever been. Make up will not cause wrinkles, but the way you put it on could cause wrinkles. Don't pull or tug on your skin. When applying concealer, press it on gently, rather than rubbing it onto your skin. Be gentle on the eye skin, it's very thin.

Sun exposure causes premature wrinkles. Wear sunscreen!

I really don't want to get wrinkles for as long as possible. I'm 14 now. What can I do to prevent my skin from becoming saggy and wrinkly later? What can I do now to prevent wrinkles later?
The best way to prevent wrinkles is not to do anything that causes them. Don't smoke, don't use the tanning bed, don't lay out. Use SPF on your face everyday (actually, use it everywhere). You can usually buy a moisturizer with SPF. Drink lots of water, eat a balanced diet, moisturize. These 3 things will keep your skin hydrated. What can I do now to prevent wrinkles later?

Smear honey on your face and leave it for as long as possible (but 5-10mins a day will do). then rinse off with tepid water mixed with a teaspoon of cider vinegar - this has a neutral pH and will act as a toner.

Dont use products for older people what so ever. That causes wrinkles. Eat very healthy especially salad- it has shown in studied that people who eat fruits and vegetables verse people who eat hardly any get significally less wrinkles. You can also get in habit of excersing and drinking olots of water. DOnt use harsh products- use cetaphil. My aunts a drematologist and shes says lots of her client get premature wrinkles from un-needed products. She tell me to use neutrogena bar for oily skin and cetaphil; cleanser for dry to normal. some really good tips that i have learned is that when you wash your face, always wash in an upwards motion instead of washing downwards, that way, you wont continuously be pushing down your skin.

also, eat plenty of fruits and veggies and drink PLENTY of WATER.
    Here are some ways:

Don't spend a lot of time in the sun

    Don't smoke

    Don't drink alcohol in excess

What is a good way to prevent wrinkles and lines due to smoking?

PLEASE dont tell me to stop!

I have been smoking for many years and have some lines developing around the mouth and eyes. What to do? i want to keep on smoking though. What is a good way to prevent wrinkles and lines due to smoking?
**You can greatly diminish existing ones and largely prevent others from forming. I had incredible success at diminishing mine with vigorous massage. To prevent skin pulling you first tighten by opening mouth 3/4'; and pulling lips firmly back against teeth. It tightens most off face. Use any oil - olive works well. Bottom lip: Using both hands, rest thumbs under chin point and do horizontal massage quite vigorously with finger tips of first three fingers held together. Initially you can only do for a minute or so but as skin quickly adjusts you can do very vigorously for much longer.

Top Lip: Using either hand with front of first two fingers held together do horizontal fast forward and back massage on lines.

The massaging friction rubs them away. If you can build up to a very vigorous daily massaging of a few minutes you will see clear diminishing in about two weeks. Persevere and they will greatly diminish.

Crows feet: Treatment is most successful in eye areas. With front of first three fingers held together do a fast up and down massage directly on lines. You will see definite diminishing in as little as a week.

There's not much. You're doing cellular damage at a faster rate than the average person, so the only solution would be to stop damaging your cells, which you're not planning on doing any time soon it sounds like. So, wear sunscreen everyday, stay out of the sun, drink lots of water and buy a wrinkle cream. There's nothing that will help you like quitting though.

How do you fold a dress shirt before you roll, in order to minimizes wrinkles when traveling?

I would love step by step instructions. The rolling part seems easy, but i'm not sure how to fold everything so it stays tidy and wrinkle-free

Thanks in advance! How do you fold a dress shirt before you roll, in order to minimizes wrinkles when traveling?
OK, I hope this translates well....

Lay the shirt front side down on a bed or a table or where ever. Fold each long side in about 4 inches, a guide is to look at where the shoulder seam meets the collar, from that point to where you start your fold should be about 4'; from there (the collar) to where you fold that whole side in. Do the same thing on the other side. Now, your sleeves will be laying %26amp; extending past each folded side of the shirt, fold them back right where the actual shirt side underneath is folded, so now the sleeve will be sort of folded backwards. If it now extends past the fold on the other side of the shirt body fold that in 1 more time (on top of the fold in the shirt body), by now you're probably folding just above the cuff. Now do the same thing to the other sleeve. The sleeves will look like they are sort of zig-zagging their way down the length of the shirt. OK, now fold the whole thing somewhat in 1/2 lengthwise, so the shirt tail comes up just below the collar. Are ya' still w/ me? Now you can start rolling from the bottom until you get to the collar. I wish I could've drawn you a diagram, but I hope this has helped! Safe journey! How do you fold a dress shirt before you roll, in order to minimizes wrinkles when traveling?

What is the difference between stress lines and premature wrinkles?

I have three clear lines across my head which have been due to chronic stress. they have been going and getting worser for two weeks now.

two people have mentioned that stress lines come and go when the stress goes, my stress is ongoing. i can't however find anything online abut 'stress lines' which makes me wonder if there is such a thing.

Can someone show me where i can read up on stress lines because the only things i find are facial lines and wrinkles both of which can be caused by stress but are permanant, not temporary. What is the difference between stress lines and premature wrinkles?
stress lines go away faster. What is the difference between stress lines and premature wrinkles?
    All the wrinkles may be permanent, unless you refill them or you treat them as soon as possible (with moisturizers, for instance);

I suppose the stress lines are expression wrinkles (never heard this name) but I know that premature wrinkles are a sign of a bad condition of the skin, like too much dryness.

Anyway, you need to apply a good cream in your face, every morning and every night before bed, and the wrinkles, whatever their type is, will soon be smoothed.

How do you PREVENT fine lines and wrinkles?

I know its nearly impossible. But are there some good remedies to fight off those fine lines and wrinkles?? : ) : ) Any help is appreciated. How do you PREVENT fine lines and wrinkles?
Put raw vaseline, like not moisturizer anything every day. :)

    Or just don't smile XDD

No but seriously my grandma did that and shes got basically no wrinkles and shes 70.How do you PREVENT fine lines and wrinkles?
Not a good idea. Vaseline creates an impermeable coating over your skin that prevents it from breathing. A very very good quality ideally 'pure' moisturizer, one that deep penetrates and is persistent, but doesn't contain parabens, synthetic perfume or fragrance, or petroleum ingredients. Report Abuse

Good genes help, but first and foremost, avoid the sun or enjoy it in small doses--be moderate with your exposure and always, always use sunscreen.

Eat right and take a multi-vitamin. Avoid drinking and smoking or only do them in moderation. Heavy drinking really, really ages a woman and smokers generally look older than their non-smoking counterparts. Get some exercise on a regular basis too--this really helps with stress!

Wash your face morning and evening and use a moisturizer geared towards your skin type. I don't know how old you are, but you can start using anti-aging products in your mid-to-late 20's. You should not really need them before then, but invest in a good eye cream now. Also, always wear sunglasses when you are outside--I can't stress that enough. I didn't have crow's feet until I was 28--and one summer without sunglasses is what caused them. Always wear your shades!

Really the only way is to make a giant lead umbrella that you carry with you every time you go outside. You are absolutley right. It's pretty impossible to block.
Avoid sun damage. Use sunscreen with at least SPF 15. Wear big sunglasses to cover thin skin around your eyes and keep from squinting. Frown less. The repetetive facial expressions turn into wrinkles like laugh lines, crows feet, furrowed brow.
wellll my mommy told me tht if you frown alot u can frown lines so wen im really angry i keep my hand on my forehead to keep the lines away--i no it must look weird but someday ill b thankful cuz i wont have worry lines :)
Live a healthy life. (Proper diet, exercise, etc.) If you take care of the inside, the inside will take care of the outside.
Always wear sunscreen when you're going outside, even if the sun is not shining! Use a preventative moisturizer, Olay has a great line (at drugstores).

This will sound very stupid but I swear it works. Me my mum and my nan all use it and it is amazing. Aldi's own make anti wrinkle cream. They have a day and night cream. A few months ago it was in all the media saying it was better than botox and stuff. It only costs like 拢1.99 or something x x xWhat is a low-cost anti-wrinkle product for deep wrinkles?
Anything you simply apply to skin is going to do very little if anything at all. And many such products have skin harming, skin aging ingredients. Some users have reported they have caused itchy, blistery skins, rashes, bumps and even acne. (You can verify with a Google search). This safe treatment gives really good results and it's using low cost natural oils. Olive oil is excellent. It's a natural healer and a perfect moisturizer. The secret is to rub the wrinkles over and over and they simply disappear or are greaty diminished and it helps prevent others from forming. It has worked on even the deepest wrinkles - many on Answers have benefited by this treatment. See my B. Answers. If you massage entire face thoroughly on a daily basis it can completely rejuvenate it. You have to tighten and flex the part being massaged and in doing so it exercises and conditions all face (and some neck) muscles whilst skin is being firmed and tightened by massage. Skin is constantly shedding and renewing. The invigorating massage speeds this up and forces a new clearer and firmer skin to appear. It also gives skin a radiantly healthy glow.

How to get wrinkles out of sheets?

Is it possible to get wrinkles out of 100% cotton sheets? How to get wrinkles out of sheets?
Your question made me laugh because my aunt won't use 100% cotton sheets because she says you have to iron them. She used to iron her all-cotton sheets but now she claims she never did. I think she's getting senile, poor thing.

    Anyway, to answer your question:

The only way to truly get all of the wrinkles out would be to iron your sheets but why in heck would you do that, when, after lying on them just one time, they'll be wrinkled again??

One alternative would be to get poly-cotton-blend sheets but why the heck would you do that since cotton sheets are MUCH more comfortable??

The point I'm trying to make is: Unless you have nothing but time on your hands, don't worry about the wrinkles in your sheets! Enjoy them as they are! Who is going to see them anyway? How to get wrinkles out of sheets?
You must iron them or take them out of the dryer as soon as they are finished and fold them properly. Or, you could hang them out on the clothes line. Don't let them blow away!
    iron them
I have a friend whose mother used to iron the sheets. what a waste of time in my books. pull them out of the dyer while they are still hot %26amp; put them on the bed right away. it will minimize the wrinkles
I don't think there is a easy solution if you are really desperate I guess is iron them while they are still on the bed, I have done this a few times to get rid of annoying wrinkles in the bed.

You could also try martha stewarts site she has some fantastic ideas on home keeping including sheets
Use 100% cotton, iron them or take them out of the dryer as soon as dry and fold them properly. All good answers.

How do I get rid of the wrinkles under my eyes?

I am 22 and have (what I consider to be) pretty bad wrinkles under my eyes (that weren't there a few years ago). They are quite obvious every time I smile... I am almost so ashamed of them that I try not to smile.

Is there some miracle cream or make-up that makes them go away? How do I get rid of the wrinkles under my eyes?
Try Vivant Skin Care Product. This cleanser is made from Japanese Green Tea. As it's purely original and natural, it'll not harm your skin like other products with chemicals. It works great on wrinkles. Check the following link to see it, and you can even buy it from here.

http://www.palazah.com/cleansers/toners/鈥?/a>How do I get rid of the wrinkles under my eyes?
I would suggest you to use a good cream for the eye, preferably one from a recognised laboratory. Consult a dermatologist, because s/he will be in a better position to advise you on which product to use, which will go with your skin type. There are serums which are available for wrinkles treatment and they are very effective. But apart from that, you should avoid rubbing your eyes, especially in the morning when waking up as some tend to do that. When eye applying make up or cream with your hands (clean), always use your ring finger, i.e, the fourth finger. Less pressure will be applied and hence less wrinkles will develop. When you remove your eye make up, you should be very gentle. Soak your cotton ball with some gentle eye make up remover (Clarins have the best eye make up remover) and place it over your eyelids for 2 mins or so. Then gently wipe away the make up, etc. It will come off easily. For make up, you should be careful when using the concealer. It won't really hide the wrinkles, and may make them more visible.
Well, make-up is not the answer. It will only settle in the wrinkles and make it look worse. What you have to do is buy an eye cream, preferably at a pharmacy, and always keep it in the fridge. It works better that way on tired eyes. And always put eye cream, carefully, not only under your eyes, but very carefully on your eye lids and the cream has to go down to your cheekbones, as strange as it may sound. The whole area is the contour of the eye and with the cream works altogether to make it firm. Good luck!
The loss of elasticity and moisture in the skin leads to wrinkles. Mainly seen with old age, it

leads to sagging skin. Wrinkles usually appear when the collagen and elastin present in the

connective tissue of the skin weaken or decrease in number. The areas most affected by wrinkles

are face, neck and hands. The most prominent symptoms of wrinkles are lined and creased skin and

sagging skin. While age is the predominant cause of wrinkles, others include over exposure to

sun, smoking, pollution, drug use, stress, weight loss and loss of vitamin E from the body.

However, wrinkles can be treated naturally as well. In the following lines, we have provided

some of the most effective home remedies for curing wrinkles.

    Wrinkles??

What do you use for wrinkles?

    does it work?Wrinkles??
There are lots of remedies for wrinkles. Unfortunately though, not too many of them work. I'd say your best bet is a wrinkle remover cream designed to address the causes of wrinkles and finelines; loss of collagen for one.

There are a lot of factors that govern the effectiveness of a wrinkle cream, meaning you can't expect to have a winner with the first one you buy. It takes time and a bit of trial %26amp; error. Knowing the best anti wrinkle ingredients is a good start to finding a quality wrinkle cream.

My advice when looking for wrinkle skin care products to buy, look for the free trials. When it comes to wrinkle cream, free trials can be your BEST FRIEND. They don't cost you a thing, and you can try the wrinkle cream and see if it works. If it doesn't, you don't pay a dime. Collect a list of free wrinkle cream trials and then try them one at a time.

Natural homemade wrinkle removers can be effective too, but my advice is that they should be combined with actual wrinkle creams to double the effectiveness. Not literally combined into one of course, I mean using them separately throughout the day -- such as the cream in the morning and afternoon, and then the homemade wrinkle remover at night.

3 Homemade Wrinkle Removers You Can Try:

Coconut oil; Massage warm coconut oil into your skin each night before bed.

Bananas: Mash a banana up, apply it to your face, wait 20 minutes, rinse away with warm watter.

Pineapple: Cut out the core, rub core on face until thin layer is present, wait 20 minutes, wash away with warm water.

These natural remedies can and do work if you continue to use them. But, as I said, they should be used in addition to an actual wrinkle cream, one specially formulated to address the signs of aging.

    Hope this has helped!

You can either get a facial peel or get a stemmed facial with rosemary in it. Dryness will make wrinkles look more defined. Moisturize Daily and no matter what always use some sort of sun screen. since there are many factors that can affect the skin and they are sudden change of weather, too much exposure to the sun, drugs and medication as well as unhealthy habits. try to avoid all of this for they all have negative impact on the skin, since they cause the skin to become dehydrated and dull. also have a good skin care regime as well as a good skin care program. try also to have well-balanced diet, drink plenty of water and have enough sleep and exercise. for a healthy skin tips visit http://www.trustedhealthproducts.com

10 great tips that will take years off your face.

    1. Apply moisturiser regularly. Dry skin tends to lose elasticity earlier than oily skin, so applying moisturiser helps combat wrinkles, as it keeps the skin supple. It helps to keep in mind that air-conditioners and room heaters tend to dry out the air, and consequently, your skin. Apply a heavier moisturiser if you are going to be sleeping in an air-conditioned room. If possible, place a humidifier in the bedroom.?

    2. Avoid resting your face on your arm. This stretches your skin.?

    3. While removing eye make-up, be very gentle. The eyes are the first areas of the face to develop wrinkles. Under no circumstances should you stretch or pull the delicate under-eye skin.?

    4. The ageing effects of the sun are as severe as time itself. Make sure you stay out of the sun between 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., when the sun is at its strongest. If you must step out in the sun, wear a cap or carry an umbrella. Apply sunscreen lotion even if you are indoors, during the day.?

    5. Wear sunglasses if you step out in the sun. Not only do they look great, but they also prevent you from involuntarily crinkling your eyes due to the glare of the sun. This action causes premature wrinkling, and should be avoided.?

    6. Inverted yoga postures like Chakrasana, Sirshasana, Sarvangasana, Adhomukha Svanasana, increase circulation to the face. Oxygen is pumped into the face, which helps rejuvenate skin. Inverted poses are of tremendous benefit, and also help delay the onset of grey hair. Your skin will look healthier and firmer.?

    7. Apply nourishing face masks regularly to your skin. You could purchase them, or use ingredients from your kitchen shelf. Egg yolk is extremely beneficial, so if possible, apply it at least once a week. Leave on for ten minutes and wash off. Honey, olive oil, malai (at least a day old), unboiled milk, are all excellent for skin as well. Apply a nourishing mask twice a week. Years down the line, when your contemporaries faces are lined with wrinkles, you will be glad you did.?

    8. Don?t smoke. By smoking, you are increasing the levels of toxins in your body. In addition, the constant puckering of lips around the cigarette, to draw smoke, causes lines around the mouth. Similarly, consume less alcohol. Alcohol, if had in excess, causes puffiness the next morning. This puffiness causes the skin to stretch, and consequently quickens the onset of wrinkles.?

    9. Anti-ageing creams do help, though they are not the miracle workers they claim to be.

    10. Chickpeas (channas) and soya beans have been found to contain ingredients that combat wrinkles.Wrinkles??!?

How do I get the wrinkles out of my bridesmaid dress?

I have a taffeta/polyester bridesmaid dress with several obvious creases in it. Can I remove them by steaming it? I am afraid to iron it.How do I get the wrinkles out of my bridesmaid dress?
Follow the care label. Most garments can be lightly pressed inside out using a press cloth and a cool iron. If in doubt your local dry cleaner should offer a pressing/steaming service. Do NOT iron taffeta as it will mark. Never iron a gown on the front side. Do not use direct steam on garments with beadwork or decoration and always test on an inconspicuous area first. How do I get the wrinkles out of my bridesmaid dress?
this is going to sound like an odd answer. but instead of directly steaming it you can hang it in the bathroom while you are taking a shower. the light steam and humitity will loosen the creases so you can just gently flatten them with your hand. this is a safe way to ensure it won't burn.
yes you can hang it up in a bathroom so when you shower the steam will aid to de-crease the dress. you could take it too a specialist wedding dress shop and pay to have it steam cleaned.
yes you can. When you are finished, brush it with calm pastes. If that doesn't work take it to some kind of ';lavanderia';. (I have no clue how you say that in english sorry)

How can I get the wrinkles out of my 100% polyester drapes while they are hanging on the window?

They look and feel like suede. I have friends coming over tonight and would like for them to be wrinkle free before they get here!!!How can I get the wrinkles out of my 100% polyester drapes while they are hanging on the window?
Go to Target or WalMart and buy a bottle of Downey's Wrinkle Releaser, it's about 5 bucks or so, and works wonders! I work for an interior design co. that specializes in model homes and we always receive our bedding and drapery all wrinkled and once we use this wrinkle releaser on it, it seriously looks like you just finished ironing or steaming it!!! you might have to spray a lot on the drapery panels and tug on it a little to straighten out the fabric as it dries, but believe me it works!!! i always keep a bottle on hand at home for those mornings that you don't have time to iron your clothes before heading out to work... and from what i know, you can use it on any fabric except 100% silk. so polyester should be a go!!! i promise you will not be disappointed and don't have to spend a fortune or hours using one of those funky steamers!!!How can I get the wrinkles out of my 100% polyester drapes while they are hanging on the window?
Use a hand steamer available just about everywhere. It will become a great friend with lots of uses.
if you don't have a hand steamer you can also try an Iron on steam setting but don't touch the front of the fabric with it , let them hang there and get yourself behind the curtains then set steam a going gentle apply to back of curtains and move along. If no iron available then take the curtains rod and all and go to the bathroom find a place to hang, turn shower on full heat and let go for about 10 minutes with the door closed. after 10 go in and wipe out all wrinkles then rehang in living room good luck

How can I get the wrinkles out of my dress before homecoming?

My dress is a little wrinkly and homecoming is tomorrow. I cant iron on the fabric. so, what do i do?How can I get the wrinkles out of my dress before homecoming?
If your iron has the steam feature on it, simply hang the dress and turn your iron's steam on FULL holding it an inch or two from the fabric.

i also have left clothes hanging in the bathroom as mentioned above. this works too!!How can I get the wrinkles out of my dress before homecoming?
Try taking it to the one hour dry cleaners and ask to have it pressed.
Take it to the dry cleaners and get it steamed professionally.
Try to iron it or wet the wrinkled part and let it dry.
do the bathroom trick, or go 2 the cleaners, or just steam it urself..
For my prom, I hung the dress in the washroom (I know it sounds strange!) and leave it in the bathroom while you shower, or just put the water to hot. The steam from the shower should flatten out your dress.
turn the shower on really hot and hang your dress in the bathroom outside of the shower (not in it) and close the door let the steam get to it for about 20 - 30 minutes
My wife is a big fan of the professional clothes-steamer I bought for her. There are smaller ones available at most stores, incl. Wal-mart. You put in distilled water, plug it in, hang the afflicted garment on its hanger from the rack, and there's a big steam hose that steam gurgles out of. The wrinkles come right out.
the bathroom idea was really good, there is also the steamers at walmart that you yourself can do at home, and they work for many other purposes too, good luck and have fun at homecoming!!!
Leave the dress in your bathroom while you're showering so that all the steam gets the wrinkle out. Make sure you have STEAM (:

How do I get the wrinkles out of my daughter's dress?

Money is tight, so I hand washed my daughter's dry clean only dress. Its nice and clean now, but wrinkled. The material is 100% polyester, how do I get the wrinkles out?How do I get the wrinkles out of my daughter's dress?
Why don't you try to put it in your dryer with a dryer sheet? You don't really need the dryer sheet, but it helps. Let it run for about ten minutes or so then take it out right away. Or, you can put it on a hanger and put it in the shower (away from the water) and let the steam take the wrinkles out. You have to close the bathroom door to get a good steam up. Good Luck! How do I get the wrinkles out of my daughter's dress?
    Downy's anti-wrinkle spray. Works like a charm.

If you do iron, use polyester and NO spray starch. Use spray sizing if you have to, and ONLY on the back side of the fabric. Spray starch and sizing will leave a shiny residue on the fabric, this is why you should spray it only on the back.

Steaming would also work, but steam from a shower will not be enough to get all the wrinkles out. I speak from experience. I travel a lot with formal dresses and I use the steam setting on the iron and take my time to get the wrinkles out.

    Good luck!
when u take a shower(hot one) take the dress with and hang it nicely so because of the steam it will work like ironing
Low heat with a damp washcloth in between the fabric and the iron.

    Sandy :O)
iron it, put a sheet or thin towel between the iron and the dress just in case.
Set it to the settings for polyester. Usually it is a very low temp and is on the iron itself next to satin attire. Use starch too!
steam it. they have them at like wal-mart or target.

but if money is tight i would say.. hang it up in the bathroom and have someone take a hot shower for awhile and all the steam in the air might get the wrinkles out. -----i did that once with a shirt.
Try ironing it inside out on low heat.
hang it up by a hot shower when you take one. it will get steamed.

I am 55yrs old but look about 40yrs old up until recently. My face is looking awful lately. I can't afford much at all. Please help. What product would you recommend for wrinkles and sun spots on my face?
*Sadly, most anti aging products and skincare products have proven not to do what is claimed and even harm and age skin. At the most wrinkle products fade them a little (and for a lot of money). A nationwide survey of users found less than 50% of users said they worked. Many product users have reported that they cause skin irritation, acne and worse and even make wrinkles more pronounced. See the sites below.##

How can I smooth out the wrinkles in my bra's lining?

It is too expensive to buy a new bra, especially a well-fitting lightly-lined one with a front hook. I machine washed it, and put it in the dryer, so now there is one wrinkle near the inner edge of the cup. I have tried just wearing it, because it can't be seen through my shirts but it annoys me.Also I have tried strenuously smoothing it out with my fingers. Has anything ever worked for any of you women, or if you're a male bra manufacturer, or launderer, do you have advice? Thanks in advance. How can I smooth out the wrinkles in my bra's lining?
While you are taking a shower, let the bra hang-up in the bathroom with you. Once you dry off, then put the bra on. The steam and your body heat should take that wrinkle right on out.How can I smooth out the wrinkles in my bra's lining?
Well usually what happens to me if I have a wrinkle I put it in the wash--but it looks like that didn't work for you. I would bring it with you in the shower and then after you get out put it on and the wrinkle should be gone. If not hand wash in warm water.
Sorry that happened to your bra. Believe me, I know just how expensive a good bra can be and how hard it is to find one that you actually like. I would try washing it on the gentle cycle and adding a little bit of fabric softener to the rinse cycle. Also, you need to hang the bra up and let it air dry. Putting a bra in the dryer is definitely not a good idea. It can cause the fabric to shrink but not the actual lining on the inside of the bra.Hope this helps. Good luck!
Lemme tell you a secret....but don't tell anyone else. k? So you bought a bra and can't afford a new one? Take it back, tell them you hate it. I'm not kidding it works, especially at places like Victoria's Secret. Just make sure its a bra they still make...good luck!
Rell Smooth got there before me, correct answer
Try washing it again and using a REALLY GOOD fabric softener, and then letting it 'drip dry' ... that may be the 'only way' for that 'little line' to 'relax' enough to 'disappear.'

  • How can I prevent/reduce wrinkles caused by sleeping on my face?

I am getting wrinkles on my neck and undereyes. Are there any changes I can make in the way I sleep to prevent more wrinkles? I am getting a Tempur Pedic pillow soon, would this help my case? Also, what creams can I apply to reduce wrinkles? Thank you.How can I prevent/reduce wrinkles caused by sleeping on my face?
try sleeping with a satin pillowcase. it will protect your hair and your skin. also, make sure you're drinking tons of water and wearing a moisturizer with at least 25 spf in it, even if you're not planning on spending a lot of time outside. keep your skin hydrated and you're good to go!

    Stop sleeping on your face...
keeping your skin moisturized is a good idea.

i was born with eczema and had to find solution to skin care. my mother introduced Vaseline intensive care lotion to me for a cold sore. wow. it cleared up in no time. then i found it was just what i needed for continuous moisture and it doesn't cost a fortune.
Dang...stop sleepin on your face if you can help it.

Arbonne sells great anti-aging/wrinkle products. You can shop online. clik my profile for info.
You have to change your position in sleeping. Try extra virgin olive oil.
Remove your face and replace it with a baby's. Everybody loves babies so you can't go wrong there. Plus, now you'll have an excuse for using that baby power you like to use all of the time.
Recent studies came out and said that none of the wrinkle creams really work. Best bet is a good moisturizer, and plenty of water.
